Club Description
Learning Spanish through songs is an extremely powerful way to get words and expressions to stay in our minds long-term. We all get songs stuck in our heads—so put that to good use and use it as a learning tool to improve your language skills! Each week we will provide you with a song to listen to and a worksheet to complete prior to the club event which will highlight pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. The club event itself will be pure conversation, getting you thinking and speaking about the song's overall message and newly learned lexicon.
Weekly Topics
Each Music Club session is built around one Spanish-language song from across the Spanish-speaking world. Songs span multiple decades, genres, and regions, allowing students to explore both language and culture in an engaging, accessible way.
Each 60-minute session follows a consistent and supportive structure:
Throughout the year, weekly topics explore themes such as identity, relationships, emotions, social change, daily life, humor, nostalgia, and cultural traditions, while naturally reinforcing listening comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and spoken fluency. Songs are selected to be accessible to A2 learners while still offering depth and challenge for B1–C1 students, making this a truly multi-level experience.
Each 60-minute session follows a consistent and supportive structure:
- Welcome and conversational warm-up
- Key vocabulary and expressions from the song
- Guided lyric analysis (themes, tone, cultural context)
- Discussion questions designed to spark conversation
- A short creative or reflective task inspired by the music

All materials are included in your enrollment fee:
- A digital course syllabus with all weekly topics, objectives, homework and solution guides.
- Interactive student materials for all sessions.
- A OneNote class notebook for notes, recordings, and collaborative activities.
What if I Miss a Class?
We understand that life gets busy! If you miss a class, you can easily catch up by:
- Reviewing your class materials and class notes
- Completing the assigned homework per the course syllabus
- Scheduling a private lesson with your instructor to makeup the session

Terms & Enrollment Policies
By enrolling in this course, you agree to the terms of our enrollment policy:
- Adult courses with fewer than four students may be reduced in hours:
- 10 total hours for 1 student
- 15 total hours for 2–3 students
- 20 total hours for 4 or more students
- Students are eligible for a course credit valid for 365 days for the full amount they paid for the course.
This credit is available only to students who withdraw at least 7 days prior to the start of the class.
We are unable to provide cash refunds for student withdrawals. - Once a course has started, same-semester transfers can only be made if the student is in the wrong level.
Same-level transfers, course credits, or refunds will not be allowed once the course has begun.
