Spanish for Travel (B2)
Planning an adventure to a Spanish-speaking country? Spanish for Travel is a 20-hour task-based course designed for students who are proficient in all three Spanish moods—indicative, subjunctive, and imperative—and want to apply their skills in real-life travel scenarios.
Throughout this interactive course, you will plan and execute an exciting trip to Latin America, gaining the language skills necessary to confidently book a trip, navigate an airport, check into a hotel, order food, handle complaints, and more. The course culminates in a final presentation of your personalized travel itinerary, ensuring that by the end, you’ll have the knowledge and preparation to travel with confidence!
Prior to enrolling, students must have tested into the B2 level, be fairly proficient in the indicative tenses (non-subjunctive) and ready to focus on the subjunctive.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

➡️ Check into a hotel and make special requests
➡️ Order tapas and navigate restaurant/bar etiquette
➡️ Attend festivals and engage in cultural experiences

➡️ Handle travel-related complaints and submit formal letters
➡️ Present a fully detailed travel plan in Spanish
