Club Description
We get it, you’re a busy parent and/or a new Spanish speaker. But that doesn’t mean your own goals have to wait. We’re making it easier than ever to grow your Spanish skills while your child learns too.
Our Beginner Banter Club meets in person at the same time and place as our Spanish for Kids classes in Falls Church, VA. That means your whole family can learn together, just in different rooms.
The club also meets online and is available to all Spanish learners at the A1-B1 levels who want to start speaking and build confidence. Each week, we’ll explore vocabulary and cultural themes like holidays, food, and daily life in the Spanish-speaking world.
By the end of each session, you will be able to:

- Use new vocabulary related to a specific cultural theme
- Understand and respond to basic questions and expressions
- Participate in simple role-plays and structured conversations
- Gain cultural insight into food, routines, traditions, and everyday life
Weekly Topics
Each week in the Beginner Banter Club, you'll explore a new theme to help you grow your vocabulary, improve your listening comprehension, and practice real-life Spanish through fun, interactive videos.
🧑💻 Online Classes (A1) – Designed for absolute beginners, online sessions are based on VideoEle's A1 materials and focus on practical topics such as greetings, numbers, routines, food, family, and the weather. You'll watch short videos, complete a workbook, and join guided conversations each week.
🏠 In-Person Classes (A2) – Held in Falls Church, these sessions build on A1 foundations with more speaking, more grammar, and deeper cultural topics. Expect themed sessions such as shopping at the market, discussing past vacations, using reflexive verbs, and exploring Spanish holidays and traditions.
No matter your level, every class helps you use your Spanish in meaningful and confidence-building ways. Full topic lists and video links are shared in your syllabus.

No worries! All of our clubs are designed with flexibility in mind. These are drop-in style events, so there’s no required order and no long-term commitment. You can sign up à la carte, attending only the sessions that work with your schedule. Each class stands on its own with a self-contained theme, so you’ll never feel behind. Just sign up for the weeks you want, join when you can, and enjoy learning Spanish on your terms.
