Online (only for teachers residing in: the Caribbean, Central America, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Spain)
Work Status:
Independent Contractor (1099)
Position Overview:
Teach high energy, communicative Spanish language and culture classes to groups and individuals.
Follow already developed course lesson plans and course materials for 20-hour group courses.
Prepare and customize lesson plans for one-on-one students based on their needs and interests.
Write post-lesson emails to students resuming the lesson and explaining the homework.
Maintain excellent professionalism, strong organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
Incorporate a student-led, communicative approach to language teaching.
Monitor student activity and encourage up-sales.
Demonstrate great time management skills.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Strong Spanish language grammar skills
Have minimum availability of 4-10 hours per week
Be passionate about Latin American and Spanish culture
Record introduction videos for Work-Life Spanish offerings
Minimum 1-year teaching experience with children & teens and/or adults
Own a computer with Internet access (laptop required for in-person instructors)
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Ability to both follow a lesson plan and create one when needed
