Course Descriptions

IBERO-AMERICAN CINEMA (B2 - C1)
This course is an exploration of Spanish and Latin American films from a variety of major directors. Areas of investigation include the cinematic representation of nationality, ethnicity, identity, gender, history and politics. Historical circumstances will be taken into account so that the student is able to understand what film reveals about Spanish and Latin American thought and culture. ​
MASTERING THE PRESENT SUBJUNCTIVE (B2)
This course is intended for those who have conquered the indicative tenses and are ready to learn how to express doubt, uncertainty, wishes, wants and desires with the present subjunctive tense through fun, interactive discussions.
SPANISH FOR TRAVEL (B2 - C1)
This is a task-based course geared for individuals with a severe travel bug. Put to use your grammar skills as you plan and execute an exciting trip abroad while increasing your Spanish language confidence.
INDICATIVE VS SUBJUNCTIVE (B2)
This course will review the four indicative past tenses, the present subjunctive and the various uses of the imperfect subjunctive through the viewing of short films and class discussions and differentiate por & para and use si clauses.
UPPER INTERMEDIATE CONVERSATIONS (B2)
This course is great for people who want to improve their communication skills and increase their vocabulary through intelligent and fun group debates while studying the culture of Spanish speakers around the world. 
SPANISH SITCOM B2
This is the last season of this original comic TV series by Habla con Eñe. A familiarity of all three modes (indicative, subjunctive and imperative) is required to debate and discuss the education system, banking and money, the business world, personal hygiene, the arts, fashion, media and much, much more!
