Spanish Flamenco for Beginner Speakers - Native Speakers! (A1-C2)
Flamenco is a dynamic and empowering style of dance, made up of influences from cultures all over the world which came together in Andalusia, Spain and is in constant evolution. Dancing flamenco is learning to move with beauty and strength, making music with your footwork and channeling your emotions to find your personal expression. You will learn the essential rhythms, bodywork and footwork particular to Flamenco.
We are now currently learning Abanico Flamenco which incorporates the Spanish fan. In our session, the ladies are learning how to do the basic movements with the fan and the meaning behind it. The men are working on hand clapping, footwork and movement synchronization.
