This level is for individuals who have studied Spanish before and are able to conjugate regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs into the present tense and have basic conversations with others.

  • exclamations with ¡Qué!
  • indefinite adjectives & pronouns
  • irregular present tense verbs conjugations
  • talking about likes and dislikes with the verb gustar
  • superlatives and comparatives to make contrasts
  • the close future ir + a to discuss what will happen
  • the Spanish "to be" verbs: ser and estar
  • the "a personal" when discussing people as direct objects
  • the verbs haber, tener, hacer, venir, saber & conocer in context
  • expressing what is happening in the moment with the present progressive
  • how to talk about and write simple texts about daily life, travel and biographies​
